With the Whole Heart

“Whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24

As people who walk with Jesus, we’re only capable of giving our passion everything we have (and don’t have) with God.

Pursue your passion “heartily”
which means go after it with your whole heart and as sincerely as you know how – just as God pursued you with everything he had – Jesus Christ.

You don’t have time to be partial. There’s no such thing as “sort of.”

It’s an offense to your passion – and more importantly, to the people who can be affected by your passion – to go after it with anything less than your very best.

Half-heartedness is ungodly.

You might even say it’s sinful to pursue any desire God puts on your heart with anything less than your utmost – anything less than your entire heart.

You can’t pursue anything God puts on your heart without love.

God is love.

Go after it with God.
