Sac Poetry is a gathering for our community to connect through poetry. Hosted by Last Days Poet , we gather to share poems, listen, connect, and experience the power of poetry together.
We gather regularly from January through October, usually at Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library Meeting Room. New dates are announced throughout the year.

Be Part of Our Poetry Gatherings
You’re invited to our Sacramento poetry gatherings. Hosted at local libraries, these relaxed, family-friendly gatherings are a place to meet others, share poetry, listen, and enjoy conversation. Most gatherings are held on Saturdays in the early afternoon and feature convenient locations with easy parking.
Everyone is welcome. Some people have been writing poetry for years. Others simply enjoy reading poetry or are curious to experience a gathering for the first time. Our gatherings are small and invite you to connect with our community through the beauty of poetry.
Gatherings often include opportunities to share your own poetry, bring a favorite poem to read aloud, listen to others, participate in a simple writing exercise to continue at home, and enjoy meaningful conversation together.
